I was so excited to buy these jeans! I checked the reviews so carefully and referred to the size chart, and finally ordered a size 20. I'm a size 14/16, but I ordered up because of the reviews and because Lisa Says Gah’s website said size 20 is a 37 inch waist, and that’s my waist size. They just arrived today and…. TINY. Like three additional sizes too small.

I was pretty confused so I got out my measuring tape, and the waist on these jeans measured 34 inches, not 37 inches! I reached out to Lisa Says Gah’s customer service, and their bot responded by saying that the size chart reflects a waist size of 34.5 for size 20 jeans.

I checked the LSG website and lo and behold, size 20 shows a 34.5 inch waist. I genuinely thought I was going crazy. I know I would have never ordered a pair of jeans with a 34.5 inch waist. I also distinctly remember ordering a size 20 because of the 37 inch waist in the size chart, and I only placed my order less than a week ago on December 29.

So I decided to digging, and found the Robyn jeans webpage on the Wayback Machine, a site that preserves old webpages. Sometime between my order on December 29 and today, Jan 5, Lisa Says Gah CHANGED the size chart on their website, which meant that I received the wrong size jeans.

I thought I did everything right, reading dozens of reviews and checking the size chart religiously. I was so careful since these are on final sale, but I love them so much and didn’t want to miss out on snagging a pair. Instead I have to order another pair based on the new and presumably (hopefully?) correct size chart that is on the website now.

I was so excited to buy a pair of these jeans. I spent AGES poring through the reviews and checking the size chart to make sure I ordered the right size because everyone says they run small, especially for curvy girls like myself. I pulled the trigger, and received these jeans today--TINY. Like, three sizes still too small even though I sized up from a 16 to a 20.

I decided to measure because I know I ordered the size with a 37 inch waist, and they should have fit. But these jeans have a 34 inch waist!

I emailed customer service, and their bot responded saying "The waist measurement you found aligns with the 34.5" measurement listed for size 20 in the size chart, though we understand this is lower than the 37" you expected." I genuinely thought I was going crazy. I'm typically a size 16, I would NEVER buy a 34.5 inch waist. I know for a fact that when I bought these jeans, I ordered the size 20 with a 37 inch waist. Well, now the live website says that a size 20 is a 34.5 inch waist.

So I went digging. I checked the Wayback Machine, which archives old versions of websites, and I found out that Lisa Says Gah actually CHANGED the size chart since I placed my order only six days ago on December 29th! Lisa Says Gah gave me the wrong size information when I placed my order, and now I can't even return the jeans since I bought them final sale.

I am so SO frustrated and angry. I tried to be so careful when I chose my size because I knew they were final sale, and here I am, having to buy another pair to get the right size and no way to return the ones in the wrong size. This was not my mistake. This was Lisa Says Gah's mistake. They should fix it, but since I haven't heard a peep from customer service, I don't trust that they will.

Im latina, so my body is more curvier than some of the other reviews so I was scared to order the wrong size. Another review on here said she sized up 3 sizes than her normal and that was the best advice. The material is nice but not a lot of stretch room. I’m usually a U.S. 12 but got 18 and fit like a glove. They are so cute, I’m obsessed!!!!! Merry Christmas Eve to me!

This is my second pair of Robyn Jeans in Italian Summer pattern I’ve bought. Wanted to size up since I’ve gained weight in the past two years or so. The new pair uses much thinner denim (more of a cotton twill than denim) and the pattern is much more spread out/washed out than before. Looks like LSG may have changed suppliers in the last few years. Sad it’s not the same as advertised! Size 4 fits a 27 waist fine though.

Based on the size guide, I went with a 6 and these were painfully small - fun! Sized up 2 sizes per the recommendation to a 10, and tell me why these are the exact same size in the waist/hip? Either your quality control sucks, or these are all the same size pants. What gives? Pictured is both sizes; to convince folks NOT to buy.
