🤝What is your holiday return policy?

Holiday Return Policy: Orders placed between November 21st, 2021 - December 24th, 2021 will be returnable for 60 days from the original purchase date.

We accept returns of unwashed, unworn merchandise in its original packaging with tags attached. Any returns requested for orders after this period will not be accepted. Orders placed with store credit can only be refunded in store credit. Final Sale items and gift cards are nonrefundable. Swimwear must be unworn and still have the hygiene strip in place. Lingerie, Vintage, Beauty, Jewelry, Socks, Hair Accessories, and Sale items purchased on markdown with "final sale" in-cart notification are final sale and cannot be returned.

🤝What is your return policy?

We accept returns of unwashed, unworn merchandise in its original packaging with tags attached within 30 days of purchase. The return window for a refund to original payment method is 30 days from date of purchase. Any returns requested for orders after this period will not be accepted. U.S. Returns for store credit are free. The cost of the return shipping label is deducted from refunds made to original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

For International returns, a return shipping fee (approximately $20 USD) will be deducted from your refund when your return is processed. Any duties and taxes paid are nonrefundable, except for orders shipping to Canada. Initial shipping fees are nonrefundable.

🤝How do I start a return?

To initiate a U.S. return, please access our Returns Portal and select your return preferences. After requesting a return you will receive a prepaid shipping label via email. Please print the label and neatly pack up your unworn merchandise in its original packaging (including all tags and shoeboxes if applicable) and bring to a local post office. Your original order # will be referenced on your Prepaid return shipping label. Our Warehouse will be able to find your order details using this number. There is no need to include a packing slip with your return.

In the case that a return is being requested due to a damaged item or fulfillment error, it may take up to 48 hours to receive your Return shipping label after initiating your return.

To Initiate an International return please click here to create a pre-paid DHL Express Return Shipping Label. A $20 USD fee will be deducted from your refund when your return is processed at our Warehouse. Any duties and taxes paid are nonrefundable, except for orders shipping to Canada.

🤝How long after I return my item will I receive a refund?

After your return parcel has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email when your package has been processed at our San Francisco Warehouse. Most returns are processed within 10 calendar days of arriving at our Warehouse. Please note it may take an additional 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment.

🤝Can I make an exchange?

In most cases, yes! If you would like to exchange your item for a different size, please select Exchange when making your return selections. You will then be prompted to choose from the available in-stock sizes of your item. Final sale items cannot be exchanged.

🤝How do I return a gift?

To initiate a U.S. return, please access our Returns Portal and before entering in your order information, click "Returning a gift?" and follow the instructions.

Orders & Shipping

📦How can I track my order?

You should receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details within 48 hours of your order being placed (or by end of day Monday if you placed your order after 12PM PT on a Friday). By clicking on the tracking number in your email you will be able to monitor your package’s whereabouts.

📦What if I need to change my shipping address after placing an order?

Please be sure to review and verify your shipping address before submitting your order.  If you need to make a change to your shipping address after placing your order, please reach out to  We will do everything we can to make any requested changes before your order is released, but we cannot guarantee that any address changes can be made after an order has been submitted.

📦What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?

Most orders are shipped from our San Francisco, California warehouse within 1 business day of being placed.  Orders placed on weekends and national holidays will be shipped out by the following business day.   Our business days are Mon-Fri, excluding US Holidays.  Express and Next-Day orders placed before 10 AM PST ship out the same business day, while those placed on the weekend or after 10 AM PST ship the following business day.

Domestic Shipping Options:  

USPS First Class (3-5 business days) and USPS Priority (2-3 business days).  Rates are calculated at checkout.  Orders over $80 ship for free.

UPS Next Day Air Saver (1 business day), UPS 2nd Day Air (2 business days), and UPS Ground (3-5 business days).  Rates are calculated at checkout.

International Shipping Options:

DHL Express Shipping (3-8 business days). $10-20 Flat rate shipping for orders under $150. Orders over $150 ship for free.

📦What if my order has been marked as delivered but I have not received it?

All Mail carriers are currently experiencing delays due to Covid-19.  If you have received a Delivery confirmation email but you cannot locate your package, we have found that the following situations are almost always the case:

A neighbor or roommate accepted the package on your behalf

The postal carrier left the package somewhere discreet to prevent it from being stolen

The postal carrier marked the package as delivered but for some reason the package did not make it off the truck (and will be re-delivered the next day)

If you still can't find the package, please double-check the shipping address on your order confirmation email to ensure that the order was shipped to the correct address. Because of how frequently the scenarios above have been known to happen, we require a 10 day waiting period after a package is marked “delivered” before considering it to be lost.  While we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, if for some reason your package has not shown up within 10 days of being marked as “delivered,” please contact us at so that we may further assist you.


How do I place a pre-order?

You will need to provide your email, shipping address and card details. All communications will be sent to your email address, including details of how to cancel and any updates to your pre-order.

Discount/promo codes and store credit can be applied at check out. Gift cards cannot be applied to pre-orders. We do not accept afterpay for pre-orders. Currently, pre-orders are for US customers only.

What is Purple Dot?

Purple Dot is a waitlisting platform that allows you to be the first to get your hands on Lisa Says Gah’s next great item. Purple Dot will keep you in the loop the whole time.

To offer you Purple Dot pre-orders, we pass Purple Dot certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details.

When is my payment charged for my pre-order?

Payment is charged at the time you place your pre-order. Cancel any time for a full refund here.

Payment information is processed securely by Stripe. No card details are transferred to or held by Lisa Says Gah or Purple Dot. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry-standard security protocols.

What happens if I cancel or return my pre-order?

You can cancel at any time here, you will receive an email confirming the refund and should see the money back in your account in 3-5 business days.


✈️Are Duties and Taxes Included in my order total?

How duties, taxes, and other customs fees are treated varies depending on what country you are shipping to.

If you are shopping in the following countries, duties and taxes are included, if applicable, and automatically ship with duties prepaid.  You will not be charged any additional fees at checkout or upon delivery: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Japan, Jersey, Korea (South), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

If you are shopping in Canada, you will only pay for local sales tax, if applicable, at checkout.  You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery. 

If you are shopping from a country that is not listed above, you will have the option to prepay duties, taxes and fees at checkout or to pay for all duties, taxes and fees upon delivery. If you select to prepay at checkout, you will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery. If you select to pay upon delivery we can not guarantee the cost of fees. Any duties and taxes paid are nonrefundable, except for orders shipping to Canada.

Payment & Store Credit

💸I entered my billing information at checkout but have not received an order confirmation. Did my order go through?

If you did not receive an order confirmation email with an order number, your order did not successfully go through.  If this happens it is most likely because either something was entered incorrectly in the billing information or the checkout page was closed out before the order confirmation popped up. If you are also seeing a pending charge on your card, it will not actually go through, but it may take 2-5 days for the pending charge to be lifted from your account.

💸I purchased something using Afterpay and will be returning it. How does that work?

If you have selected a refund back to original payment method, Lisa Says Gah will refund you for the items returned minus the cost of the return shipping label.  Afterpay will apply your refund to any outstanding payments associated with your original order and then apply any remaining balance to any payments already made.  Please feel free to reach out to us at to verify if a return was successfully processed by LSG.  If you have questions regarding your Afterpay account balance please reach out to Afterpay directly. Afterpay's Returns/Refunds FAQ page can be found here.

If you requested a refund for Store Credit and your original payment method was Afterpay, LSG will issue your store credit refund via a unique code which will be sent to you in an email.  You will still be responsible for making any outstanding Afterpay payments associated with your initial purchase.

💸If I don't have an LSG account how is my refund for store credit issued?

Customers who select “refund for store credit” will receive a unique credit code for the refund amount.  This will be delivered via email once your return has been processed at our Warehouse.


📏I have a question about how something fits?

On all of our product pages we include a universal size conversion chart directly below the product description. For most styles we also include detailed measurements of each size.  If you still have questions after reviewing these details, please reach out to us at and we'll be happy to help you find the perfect fit!


🎁I purchased a Digital gift card and received a shipping confirmation email. Has anything actually shipped?

No, nothing has physically shipped!  Your Order confirmation email contains all of your gift card details.  You can send this directly to the recipient.

🎁I am ordering something as a gift. Is there a way to not include pricing info in my package? Do you gift wrap?

We do not include packing slips with prices inside your package.  Your order number will be referenced on the shipping label.  The purchaser will be able to access order details by referencing that order number. Most clothing and small items are shipped in our cute, sturdy, 100% recyclable Gah! Mailers.  We now offer the ability to add a gift note at checkout. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate gift wrap requests at this time.



All of our packaging is made from recycled materials and made in the USA. Our boxes, tape, and mailer envelopes are all 100% recyclable. Our polybags are made from 100% recyclable content and from post consumer material. 

Our mailers are made with a minimum of 50% recyclable materials, and are biodegradable and compostable. 

Our mailer boxes are made from an average of 37%-63% post-consumer recycled content.

All of our packaging is printed with water-based inks.

♻️Fabrics + Materials

Lisa Says Gah! Collection pieces are made from a variety of both natural and synthetic materials. Many of our pieces are made of 100% cotton and 100% cotton denim. We are working toward using more responsibly sourced man-made materials regularly, from recycled poly to recycled acrylic yarn. Read below for more information about specific materials we use and our printing processes.

Nut Buttons:
Our custom nut buttons used on LSG Collection designs are made from Corozo nuts which grow in the South American Rainforests and are 100% natural, as the Corozo nut is the only component. No resin, filter, or other materials are added.

Corozo nut buttons are the most sustainable option for us to use. The seeds fall naturally from the palm tree. The nuts are laid out for drying as the inside of the nut is liquid. After they are dried the nuts are sliced and turned into button shapes. 

Denim Printing: 
All of our denim printing takes place in Missouri using non-toxic, biodegradable, water-based ink, with zero water waste and zero chemical additives. Our denim printing partners meet strict OEKO-Tex standards and are Eco-Passport + GOTS-approved.

At Lisa Says Gah, community is one of our most important tenets. Each year, we’ve been able to give back to organizations doing important work throughout the United States. It renews our commitment to our community by directly giving back through charitable donations. 

In 2020, Lisa Says Gah has donated to The Loveland Foundation, San Francisco Marin Food Bank, the United Nations Foundation, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Transition Projects, the Higher Heights Leadership Fund, and Hike Clerb. Since the beginning of 2020, we’ve donated $14,565 to these organizations.
