Inaccurate sizing

I ordered an XL according to my measurements and the size guide for this item and it is WAY too big. I was able to pinch like four inches of fabric that would need to go for it to fit me. Unfortunately it’s not eligible for returns but I’m wishing now I had gotten a medium now that I know it runs so big.
