Say Gah! to: Mi-Anne Chan

Say Gah! to: Mi-Anne Chan

This week’s muse is Mi-Anne Chan, a writer and content creator based in Brooklyn, NY, where she lives with her partner and her kitty, Bootsy Collins! Mi-Anne works as a Video Director at Condé Nast Entertainment, and develops video series for the publishing company’s outlets, including Vogue, Teen Vogue, and Allure.

When she’s not working on video, Mi-Anne prides herself as a beauty lover and writer for pubs like Byrdie, Refinery29, and Glamour. In her spare time, she loves to share creative beauty looks on her IG, waking up late on Saturdays, dropping off her compost at the farmers market, and grabbing a killer Brooklyn Bagel at Greenberg’s. Mi-Anne is originally from the Bay Area (our hometown, too!), and her family hails from Singapore, which she considers her second home.

Dana is the true definition of a multi-hyphenate, constantly creating, no matter the medium. Dana is proudly of middle eastern descent, and is always looking to use her photography/film work to breakdown stereotypes, and depict a positive representation of middle-eastern/Muslim communities. Boulos Is also a fierce advocate for women's rights—she currently supports Free The Work, a non-profit initiative advocating on behalf of female directors for equal job opportunities.
