BOTTOM LINE: No - I would not recommend this to a friend
Not good quality

It looked so cute in the pictures but in real life, it is not even worth the sale price of $18. The clip itself is really cheap and pulls your hair with the hinges. It also feels like it could break easily. The fabric is very synthetic and does not lay down right on the clip. The stem part of the flower is hooked onto the main flower piece with plastic and gets in the way when you put it in your hair. The pearl in the middle is glued on off center and just makes the whole thing seem even cheaper. I can’t believe this was originally $30. If I could return this, I would but I got it on sale so I can’t.
