When we asked Luiny Rivera, the self taught artist and brains behind jewelry line LUINY to do a styled by collaboration she instantly knew she wanted it to take place in Puerto Rico where she's from.  It's a small island in the Caribbean known for rich culture, beautiful beaches, and warm temperatures year-round which makes its the perfect vacation spot whenever you come down with a case of the travel bug!  Based in New York City, it had been a while since Luiny had been home for the holidays, so this collaboration was the perfect opportunity for her to reconnect with the island and her dear family and friends. 
 
 Luiny selected Vieques as the first location of the shoot. It is a smaller island located off the mainland's eastern coast. A dear friend of hers recently opened a boutique hotel called Finca Victoria which is surrounded by nature so naturally, Luiny figured it would be the perfect scenery to showcase the collection.  After wrapping up the shoot at the hotel, they decided to explore the beaches. Luiny expressively notes that model Valeria made the ideal exploring companion!  
 The second day of shooting took place in Loiza, a very colorful town with an overabundance of local food stands and tranquil vibes. Waiting for golden hour the dynamic duo spent the evening hours exploring.  If Luiny had to choose a single favorite piece from the collection she would select the Maria Wrap Top in Crimson for its versatility and light and airy nature!
