Meet Muse Sophie Helf, a Bay Area native with rose gold colored prosthetic legs that keep her running around from one bookstore to the next in her Brooklyn New York neighborhood. She studied design in London and is currently living in New York where she works as a software developer and writer. Her writing mainly consists of the ins and outs of life through the lens of a disabled woman. Sophie lost both of her legs a few years back in an accident but she's since learned to embrace her "cyborg body" as she calls it. Her whit and seemingly positive outlook on life despite curveballs sent her way make her someone we and so many others admire! Sophie spends most of her spare time wandering Brooklyn by foot, reading anything she can get her hands on, and searching for indie bookstores to further her mountainous book collection.
